At the end of April 2009 there were approximately 232 million websites in the world according to Netcraft.

The Monmouth Website is ranked in the top 2 million websites in the world with welcometomonmouth.co.uk ranked in the top 8 million and the Monmouth Council website ranked in the top 24 million.

As The Monmouth Website is 10 years old this year, I guess we've learned a few things along the way!

I recently received an email from Heather Greene telling me that one of U.S. President Barack Obama's maternal ancestors was born in Monmouth in 1640 and immigrated to the Virginia Colony. His name was John Lewis.
